According to Reuters, the factor that has limited the growth of gold prices is the investors' reception of high-risk assets due to improved confidence in the economic recovery, which pushed the Nasdaq index to a record high in April. Asian stock markets are also on the rise.

"As a result of the uptrend in stock markets over the past few weeks, gold is in a steadily declining trend, and any uptrend may be met with massive sell-off by traders," Stephen Ince, strategist at Oxycorp Financial Services, wrote in a note. .
